yesterdae..
work 12-8pm..
lunch quite boring actually.. not much guest..
but at nite.. woo..
our ress closed 4 Marine Parade's function..
S'pore ex-prime minister Mr Goh Chok Tong came..
woot woot..
security tight like virgin le..

after break.. wayne n i went up pushing the bread trolley..
reached 5h floor.. there're 2 policemen there..
ask 4 our ic 2 pass tru n go in our kitchen.
settled.. we hav 2 place a sticker on our name tag..
like chop sign approved we r safe n not terrorist like that..
so, went in we go..

after setting up the buffet..
ard 7pm+, guest starts flocking in..
mostly adults ard 30-50..
while waiting, nth 2 do.. toilet i went..
the route 2 toilet near the swimming pool was block n guarded by few policemen..
sianz.. go by front door.. too many guest n CID.. blocked.. sianz..
then go 1 big round fr the kitchen back door..
then saw something reaaaly cool..
the was a metal detector machine o whatever u call it..
placed in front of the ress front door..
every guest hav 2 go pass it..
so.. wat else.. long queue lo..
heard a guest talking 2 our security manager..
goes 'i jz came out fr the ress 2 the toilet, now i muz q n kena scan again?'
typical *********an.. q awhile wil die is it..

service time.. our VVVVVVIP came ard 745..
after giving a speech.. feeding frenzy starts..
haha.. wow.. like a swarm of fly rushing towards a pile of shit..
few minutes later all food gone.. replenish, replenish n keep on topping up the food..
but none of my business..
i do carving station.. a roasted whole turkey..
ard 830.. i go home ady..
dunno wat's happening after that..

heard that there a emergency n a bomb was detected..

finally..
i got the photo of the cute little rabbit that we serve in our restaurant.
1stly.. wat u do is..
basicllay jz chop them 2 chunks.. (remove their head)

then fry some mirepoix..
add in herbs like oregano,thyme n bay leaves..
then few bottles of red wines(corner stone) n in the pot the whabbits go..
simmer 4 few hours n there u hav it..
wat a delicate, rich n tasty yet sinful dish..
haha..
dun 4get salt n pepper..

canteen's food

our hotel's cafeteria..

located at b1 at south tower..

provides 2 types of meal..

muslim n non muslim..

but non muslim oso can eat muslim food.

like prison lo.. u walk pass then they scoop food onto ur plate..

sumtimes they gd mood, they giv u lot..

when they not happy, u get a kids meal.
2 meat 1 vege n rice n a 'freshly' cut fruit.

there got a salad counter.. soup counter..

drinks... syrup cordial+water..

taste nice.. but not healthy..

all sugar le..

got coffee+milo making machine oso.

but 1 wk spoil 3 times..

sumtimes can use.. but come out plain hot water but brownish..

got traces of milo o coffee..

lol..

now.. bout the food..

menu changes weekly..

which is good.. but.. nth really changes lo.

jz swap some dishes..

n... the most important thing..

very sibe the oily lo the food..

chicken rice oso oily..

fried vege oso oily.. the vege like can swim de.

then everything deep fried deep fried..

lol.. lucky i eat 9 months only..

Summer's over??

wow.. yesterdae when i was going 2 work.. the wheather freaking hot.
jz like few days b4 yesterdae..
summer never ends..
not a tiny small bitsy witsy little rain drop in past few daes..


while starting the service in 333,
bout 1pm o so..
woah.. scary le.. typhoon le..
all the plants outside the restaurant was blown by the wind+rain n their small trunk nearly break..
the swimming pool beside 333 was flooded.. haha..
very scary.. very noisy.. the rain hit onto the glass wall of 333
some guest was sitting near the glass wall.. but they din complaint..
i guess maybe they're not s'porean..
oops!! haha..

feels good..
i looove rainy days..
mis it so much..
but b4 the service over(bout 230pm).. the rain stops ady..
but whole dae was cloudy though..
which is good.. haha
but how i wish.. i was off yesterdae.. then can hibernate 24 hrs..
